    This is a scene from an early staged reading of THE LIVING NEWS: SHELTER - a work-in-progress script inspired by the Living Newspapers produced by the Federal Theater project in the 1930's. This reading is being performed during dinner at Cornerstone Community Outreach, a homeless shelter in Chicago. The script is written by a collaborative of artists from Columbia College Chicago and journalists from the Chicago Tribune, based on many interviews at Cornerstone Community Outreach.
